As we arrived to the school, some 116 AAC year 7 students we already sitting eagerly on the chairs arranged in circles inside the school's hall, impatient to start with the activities suggested by the OGDC staffs. The students were divided into groups of 12, accompanied either by a teacher or a facilitator from OGDC.

After we finished setting up for the activities, the teachers and facilitators went to their respective groups, to take their students' attendance.

The event was commenced with a prayer from an ustaz from AAC. After that, an opening speech was given by Cikgu Rahagi, the principal of AAC. After that, Janet went on introducing the staffs available on that day, followed by a safety briefing.

The event was divided into three sessions, first would be the ice-breaking session, second would be the team-building session and the third will be the motivational talk session. As for the ice-breaking session, the first activity carried out was the 'Remember Your Friends' activity which started within each group and later within 2 groups. The second activity was the so called 'Shoe Game' which also started within each group and later the students made an enormous circle covering the sides of the school hall to play the game.

As the ice-breaking session was over, we had a shot break. The OGDC staffs and teachers had their break in the teachers' conference.

After the break, the second session begins, which is the team-building session. The team-building session also consists of 2 activities. The first one is the 'Word Scavenger Hunt', where the students are given a piece of manila card with missing letters, their task is to communicate with the other groups to find the missing letters and complete the word. The second activity was the 'Tech Challenge: Oil Rig', where the students in each group were asked to build an oil rig out of sheets of old newspaper.

The winner for the Tech Challenge went to Group J; their 'oil rig' was able to withstand 900g with height of 94 cm.

After the completion of the prize giving ceremony by Iskandar Alias, the staffs and the students were allowed to have their lunch, from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm.

Right after the lunch, the students were gathered once more in the school hall for the third session, which is the Motivational Session. Two motivational speakers from Asia-Pacific Service Learning Centre Hub, Hj. Mahmud Hj. Masron and Ronald Chua were invited for the third session. The talk generally motivates the students to spend more time on thinking about their future and ambitions. In addition, the session was included with several activities carried out by the speakers. At the end of the session, the speakers were presented with souvenirs from AAC.

The programme was ended with a speech by the Deputy Principal, Cikgu Asmah.

Overall, the programme went on smoothly and the students really enjoyed it.

The OGDC staffs present on that day was given Certificates of Appreciation from AAC.
